The fee should not be higher than the commission involved or maybe the person found in violation of not paying the due commission should have to pay the $500 fee back to the prevailing broker in addition to the commission owed. Little changes like this could help reduce these types of complaints and help us fight against those who unsavory agents who would shaft their fellow realtor.
