From REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30 coverage:

Jacquelyn Briggs
It’s a Family Affair

Jacquelyn Briggs, ABR, CRS, 28, has spent most of her life around the real estate business. Her mother was licensed when Briggs was a kindergartner, and her family frequently bought and sold vacant land as investments. Her brokerage includes her mother, husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, as well as 12 other associates and her 4-year-old daughter, a real estate pro-in-training. “I love working with my family and knowing we are committed to the same goals,” Briggs says. Children are an integral part of Briggs’ philanthropic passion. She is a former foster parent and has supported the foster care system with fundraisers benefiting the Child Crisis Center of East Valley and her company’s Homes Helping Kids program.

Tip: “Excellent education makes a difference: Take the GRI class on contracts as many times as you need in order to explain every section to your client, why it matters to the transaction, and what it means for your negotiations.”
