IPC-2013_FacebookCoverPhotoREALTORS® are used to tackling many challenging situations. Clients flying in for the weekend want to see 40 houses. No problem! Negotiating the appropriate selling price after an appraisal and a Zestimate don’t quite match up. A breeze!  But when it comes to items that are seemingly out of our control, we struggle – especially when it comes to dealing lenders and escrow agents. (Can’t we all just get along?)

For the 15th year in a row, AAR has joined forces with the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and the Arizona State Escrow Association and put together a one-day conference focusing on ways we can all work together. This year’s Industry Partners Conference focuses on how each entity works together exposing the frustrations and pain-points that each faces. On September 11, REALTORS®, mortgage lenders and escrow agents from across the state will work together to devise solutions to everyday issues. Using a scenario, each group will get to see what it’s like on the other side of the table. REALTORS® will become lenders; lenders will become escrow agents; and so forth. With each twist and turn the stakes will get higher and the parties will have to work together to figure out how to get the deal done.

If you’re a REALTOR® struggling with finding ways to work with escrow and title companies or lenders, this event is not to be missed.
