Your initial response to AAR’s market reports has been encouraging.  In fact, members from outside the Phoenix area have been requesting reports for their areas, too.  That has been our goal all along and we are working with RPR (the REALTORS® Property Resource) to gain access to statewide statistics for preparing those reports.  While that develops, we will continue to use ARMLS stats to publish reports for the areas ARMLS serves (Maricopa and western Pinal counties).

You may wonder what makes AAR’s market reports different from other excellent reports.  If you have the time, it’s good to read and compare market reports.  In addition though, AAR will try to explain how market trends are affecting your business and provide ideas on how to interpret stats for your clients.  Also, we want to help you learn to read the data yourself and understand trends at a deeper level.

There are a number of variables impacting our schedule, but we hope to move to statewide coverage by the end of Q4 of this year.  Meanwhile, please let me know how we’re doing and what you would like to see.  I’m Ron LaMee, ronlamee@aaronline.com.
