Arizona Association of REALTORS® Releases 2014 Endorsements for Legislature

az-cap-building(Phoenix) The Arizona Association of REALTORS®, which represents more than 40,000 real estate professionals, today released its 2014 general election endorsements for the Arizona Senate, House of Representatives and statewide offices. The associationis pleased to endorse 30 Senate and 48 House candidates as well as statewide candidates including the governor’s office, secretary of state and attorney general’s office.

“REALTORS® serve a critical role in our communities’ everyday functions. We connect people to their communities, and in turn people to their government,” stated Lori Doerfler, Chairwoman of the REALTORS® of Arizona Political Action Committee (RAPAC). “We have endorsed a slate of candidates that share the REALTOR® vision for the protection of private property rights, affordable homeownership and who maintain a deep understanding of the issues facing our members and the real estate industry.”

The Arizona Association of REALTORS® is confident that each of these candidates understands the issues of concern to the real estate community, homebuyers, sellers and property owners in Arizona. We look forward to working with both the administration and the legislature to ensure that the work of this legislative session results in policies and programs beneficial to the real estate industry in Arizona.
