  • BMC #1:  Statutes & Rules

This class provides a review the Arizona Revised Statutes and Commissioner’s Rules as they apply to the management of a brokerage and the oversight of licensees including disclosures, contracts, fiduciary duties, advertising, record keeping, trust account management, and employment agreements as well as compliance and risk management activities.   • Agency Relationships & Responsibilities

What do you know about your Agency Relationship to your client? Probably a lot less than you think you do! Explore suggested policies addressing top issues in Arizona as well as examine ADRE regulations, including the management of transaction files and storing and managing confidential data. This class reviews the general requirements and a broker’s duties of supervision (as outlined in the commissioner’s rules) and examine broker employment agreements, how agency relationships should be handled and the standard of care needed when managing agents. Wednesday, March 25: 1:30 – 4:30

  • Advanced Trust Accounting

This class digs into the ADRE trust accounting requirements and how to comply with them; the meaning of 3 Way Reconciliations and how to perform them monthly and how to prevent commingling and conversion in the trust account. (3-Commissioners Rules)  Instructor:  Mike Mumford

Thursday, March 26:  1:30 – 4:30

  • CFPB:  The New Closing Process

On August 1, 2015, what will the closing process look like? This class will take you through a mock scenario showing you what the new real estate closing process will look like, who is responsible for what, and what 3, 4 and 7 mean to the closing.  Through AAR’s collaboration with the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association and the Arizona Escrow Association, this class relates the information to the real-world  transaction process.
