Last week we received a notice from our AAR eSign provider, GoPaperless Solutions, announcing that GoPaperless is being integrated into Real Estate Digital. Here is a brief excerpt of the message from Mehrdad Alaei, CEO of GoPaperless Solutions:

Dear Valued Customer,

I have some exciting news to share and would like you, as a GoPaperless Solutions client, to be among the first to know.

Late last week, GoPaperless Solutions signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Solutionstar, a subsidiary of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings, Inc. GoPaperless will be integrated into Real Estate Digital; Real Estate Digital is a wholly owned-subsidiary of Solutionstar and a leading provider of truly integrated technology and data solutions to real estate franchisors, brokerages, agents and MLS organizations and associations.

GoPaperless Solutions will continue as a brand, our offices will remain in Escondido, CA and our entire team is joining Real Estate Digital to continue working on your behalf. In short, the transaction will be seamless to our customers and our commitment to serving you, innovating for you, and working side-by-side with you to create powerful technology solutions will not change.

The following FAQ will answer most questions that have been raised:

How will this affect our current AAR eSign service?

It doesn’t affect our AAR eSign service at all. Our contract has been assumed by the acquiring party and it continues uninterrupted.

How long is our current agreement with GoPaperless? Will we renew?

Our current contract for AAR eSign service expires in May of 2017. As expiration of the current contract approaches, the Business Services & Technology committee will evaluate the value and terms for entering into an extension.

What will happen to all my signings if GoPaperless is discontinued?

AAR members will continue to have access to completed signings even if the AAR eSign program were to be discontinued. GoPaperless has, and will continue to, maintain records of all completed signings since the program began.

Will there be any conflicts of interest from other services owned by Solutionstar?

Information in AAR eSign sessions and about AAR eSign users is completely confidential and is held separately from other subsidiaries and entities associated with Solutionstar.
