Survey says: Majority of REALTORS® Volunteer
The National Association of REALTORS® 2016 Member Profile indicates that 71-percent of all REALTORS® volunteer in their community. Does this majority hold true in Arizona?
We did some research, including a survey in the Arizona Real Estate Agents Give Back group on Facebook, and here are just a few examples of REALTOR® volunteerism in the Grand Canyon State:
- Stacey Slevin Krolak supports The Girls Rule Foundation
- Jane Skulstad is a fan of Furever Friends Rescue
- Paula “PJ” Selby volunteers with the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance
- Long Realty Cares Foundation recently donated to the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus
How can you do more for your community? Nominate yourself, another REALTOR®, Local Association or MLS for the Arizona REALTORS® Community Outreach Awards. The 2017 deadline is August 25, but don’t wait.
To be considered, nominees must have made a significant contribution of time, talent or treasures.
One REALTOR® and one Association or MLS will be honored during the Fall Leadership Conference and those organizations they are involved with will receive grant money to continue their community missions.
