Last year, I closed 11 homes and this year, I’m well on my way to my goal of 22. So far, I’ve closed five homes and have four in escrow.

I worked for Panda Express for over 14 years as a general manager, so I know most of the GMs in the stores. Every week, I schedule myself to stop by and visit three Pandas to say “Hi!” I connect with the GM and leave my business cards for any questions related to real estate.

One thing that’s important to mention is Panda’s mission statement. It describes itself as “an organization where people are inspired to better their lives.” So, I leverage that with the GMs and associates by asking them what they’re doing to better their lives.

I believe that in this business it’s not all just about networking, but calculated networking — connecting to those who trust and know you. Think about who you know at past work places, churches, clubs, closings, etc.

Those connections would give you the most benefit since they already trust and know you.
