The Arizona REALTORS® Spring Convention was a fantastic get-together of our real estate community.

It was an honor to be asked to teach and share some of the tips and tricks that I have learned over the years. Our industry is rapidly changing and being able help fellow REALTORS® navigate social media and become more effective at marketing is truly my pleasure.

REALTOR® Beth Adams shared marketing strategies at the 2016 Spring Convention.

Just a few years ago, all we needed was a website — we just had to be on the Internet. Now, we have to be all over the Internet. Learning how and where to focus your time and energy can be overwhelming, so the three classes I taught this year were Digital Branding, Digital Marketing and How to Make an Impact with Video.

In Digital Branding, we discussed how to distinguish yourself from competitors in a digital format. We also talked about where to reach customers in social media platforms and how REALTORS® can be more effective with their branding campaigns.

Takeaways:

  • Establish your brand, what makes you unique?
  • Be consistent and take time to establish
  • Advertise your brand on social media

In Digital Marketing, I shared helpful tools, tricks and apps, as well as when and where to reach different buyers and sellers, and how to effectively track your marketing.

Takeaways:

  • Social automation tools*
  • Return on investment
  • Tracking tools*
  • *[e.g. Hootsuite]

Video is so hot right now! We discussed the do’s and don’ts of making one and how to use video to market a listing and brand yourself in the competitive world of real estate.

Takeaways:

  • Keep it short
  • Script it, but be authentic
  • Know your target market
  • Know where to advertise

The 2016 convention was filled with a plethora of information and I so loved being a part of this wonderful event.

Thanks, AAR!
