Tucson Association of REALTORS® Counsel retires – Heidi Rib Brent named as replacement
Upon retirement of attorney Michael J. Monroe, who has represented the Tucson Association of REALTORS® for over 30 years, the Tucson Association of REALTORS® has named Heidi Rib Brent as their counsel. Ms. Brent’s 30 years of legal experience has focused on many facets of real estate, business law, contract litigation, estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships and employment law. Ms. Brent has worked with Mr. Monroe for several years and will continue in his name, practicing as Monroe, McDonough, Brent & Morales, PLLC, with experienced attorneys Lawrence McDonough and Anne Terry Morales, at 2500 N. Tucson Boulevard, Suite 140, Tucson, Arizona 85716.
Throughout her career, Ms. Brent’s has represented national and local for-profit and non-profit corporations, state agencies, boards and commissions, as well as limited liability companies and individuals. A 1984 graduate with high distinction from the University of Arizona, College of Law, Ms. Brent has been admitted to Arizona courts, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the Pima County Bar Association and Arizona Bar Association. Earlier this year, Ms. Brent gave seminars to the Pima County Bar Association and Real Estate Law Section on the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on seller carry-back transactions.
Mr. Monroe has practiced law in Tucson for 47 years. We wish him well in his retirement.
