Why I’m Attending the 2015 REALTORS® Conference & Expo
Over the years, I’ve attended several conferences and expos for the television and automotive industries, but November 13 through 16 will be my first REALTORS® Conference & Expo.
This event is all about education, education, education and if your mantra is location, location, location, then San Diego’s seasonal highs around 70 degrees will be a win-win.
Some hot-topic programs that have piqued my interest include Residential Economic Issues & Trends, Cybercrime and how to Enhance Value and Marketability with Green Features. You can see a complete list here.
When the Expo opens Friday afternoon, I’ll be among the first to see what new products and services are being offered by nearly 400 companies — including 50 first-timers like AgentHero, Homeselfe and Virtuance.
Frank Dickens, ABR, SRES, SRS with RealtyONEGroup in Paradise Valley, told me it’s like “having all the real estate service vendors available under one roof!” One of his best experiences was meeting with FBS and learning how to integrate Flexmls with his iPad and iPhone.
The heart of San Diego’s nightlife is in its historic Gaslamp Quarter, but we won’t have to leave the convention center to see Grammy-winning performer John Legend. He takes the stage right after the “REALTORS® Got Talent” show on Sunday evening.
Click here to register and feel free to say hello when you see me. I’d love to chat about this year’s Conference & Expo and maybe share your thoughts in a future blog post.
