Body of Former Arizona REALTOR® Found in Kingman
On January 7, 2017, Kingman Police Detectives located human remains believed to be those of former REALTOR® Sidney Cranston, Jr. He had been missing for nearly 19 months.
Less than a week later, the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified Cranston using his dental records. Days before, a suspect was arrested in connection with his shooting death.
Al Blanco, who reportedly took care of properties owned by Cranston, was booked on first-degree murder.
“We’ve known all along this would most likely be the outcome, but hearing it was very surreal,” brother Chris Cranston told The Huffington Post. “As horrible as the news is, it’s positive, in that we can now pursue justice.”
Although authorities have not yet announced a motive, REALTOR® safety is a growing concern and that is why Arizona REALTORS® created the Agent Safety Alert Program (ASAP) and this video series.
